So I was asked to do an image for a book about the secret history of women’s bowling by an artist that I met a year ago in Oaks, PA. So I created a sexy devil bowling girl… I also created a color variant without the bowling ball! Anyway, the original inked image is in this project on Crowdfundr... which is really an odd one, it looks like it got precisely one backer, hopefully the actual book is nice when I get a few comp copies to check out.
These are some recent sketch covers I did this Summer… check them out and enjoy!
I had some fun working with colored pencils on color paper stock along with pens to create some different looks than I normally do.
I am hard at work getting my next comic book ready to publish on Kickstarter. An important part of that process is getting as many of you signed up to get a notification when it goes live so you can back the comic book on day one! LORDS OF THE COSMOS is the critically-acclaimed indie comic masterpiece that combines the best of He-Man and Heavy Metal into a sci-fi fantasy hero mashup. Jam packed with celebrity artist pinnups, daring storytelling and beautiful artwork, this book is a masterclass for anyone who appreciates vintage storytelling and 80s & 90s style. Catch up on the back issues and join the Lords of the Cosmos for their next great adventure.
My 2023 green variant “Art is Killing Me” Tee Shirt is now available for sale on Etsy by clicking HERE !
This is my 10th year making an annual tee shirt, and I wanted to bring back an old fave with this Type O Negative inspired image.
This was a cool project for a client’s friend who passed away, and creating a religious themed motif to include Santa Muerte with the deceased in the artwork.
A recent project on a black sketch cover… a custom Satanic Cat from Jason Lenox was the theme. Always a challenge to work with colored pencils on textured black paper!
This was a cool client commission for a small unique project for candles of famous sex workers. You can follow the client Princess Chayse for when these go on sale!
My 2023 “Diary of a Mad Artist” Tee Shirt is now available for sale on Etsy by clicking HERE !
This is my 10th year making an annual tee shirt, and I always enjoy taking a band that I am a fan of and doing a riff on an album title with my artwork. This year I went with using the 1981 Ozzy Osbourne album “Diary of a Madman” as the basis for “Diary of a Mad Artist” with a nod to the classic 1981 Ozzy logo and bright color scheme.
Here is a “Big Announcement” for everyone. I was asked to do a piece for the 2022 Baltimore Comic-Con Yearbook again this Fall. This year they are highlighting Jill Thompson’s SCARY GODMOTHER while crossing over with the yearbook artist’s own characters, which in my case was GENERAL BAPHOMET from The Satanic Coloring Book! They seemed like a natural pairing, so hopefully they can go out and have fun in downtown Baltimore after the show!
The original pencils will be auctioned off in October at Baltimore Comic-Con This was a really fun mash-up, hope to see you in Charm City in a few months! #Baltimorecomiccon #SatanicColoringBook #ScaryGodmother
