A great image from 1994- inspired by Sergio Aragone- how much detail and little odd stuff could I stuff into this drawing- this drawing still reminds me of a time when I always felt more was better- and sometimes it still is, as evidenced by this piece- great stuff.
Charcoal Art done from Household Objects – 1994
A nice piece from 1994- Charcoal Still life done in College. More of a portfolio builder piece than anything else- “Look- I can draw household objects in a simple medium”- anyway, I thought it held up well and a nice example of how I like to do Chiaroscuro– for those who dont know…
Chiaroscuro– in art is “an Italian term which literally means ‘light-dark’. In paintings the description refers to clear tonal contrasts which are often used to suggest the volume and modelling of the subjects depicted”.

Very much done with the classic SLAYER Album “Reign in Blood” in mind- this was a fraternity tee shirt design done around 1994.
Winged Woman Pinup – 1993
I was trying to be fancy and edgy when I made this, and I dont think I pulled it off- but again, for being 18, it showed some nice potential, and I appreciate that about this piece.
Valiant Heroes Pinup-1993
Made this in 1993 for a contest with Valiant Comics- didnt win anything, but I was trying to get over a stigma from a guy who told me I didnt know how to draw hands- and he was probably right- it was one of my number one focuses ever since- I think this is some nice pinup art from an 18 year old.
Heavy Metal ~ Manga inspired pinup- 1993
A very fun piece from 1993- I can see the influences of Yukito Kishiro, as well as Heavy Metal Magazine in here- while I can see tons of flaws in this now, I still love this drawing from the passion that I had when I made it, and I think I may revisit this again at some point in the future and give it an overhaul and update!

Inspired by the popular comics of the time (Marvel and Image) here is a testosterone bursting image of comic fueled death an mayhem – not much point to it, but it still is pretty cool to look at- and imagine we are all back reading bad action comics from 18 years ago!
Guy Taking a Leak- 1992
One of my favorite images for a laugh- just a guy taking a piss on the world. Bold, yet simple- this summed up my opinion of the world around 1992. I think this made a tee shirt appearance at some point.
