So this commission for Baltimore Comic Con turned around so fast, I barely had time to get a partial scan of the pencils, and an effects laden shot from an ipad of the final pencils.  Overall, a really fun piece.  Why didn’t Dark Horse have art this good all the time?  One can wonder….  Enjoy, inks coming soon.  When I get the scan from the client I will post it up, this piece was completed at the BCC show last weekend.

A fan favorite from the convention scene- “THE LIVING CORPSE”  Im working on for Joe Perry as a commission for the 2014 Baltimore Comic Con- a fun character to draw, sort of a new wave Crypt Keeper.  The guys that make this comic are rockstars in the comic book world so it has been fun to play with their creation…

Just a quick fun sketch of Kitty Pryde from the X-Men I did at Nittany Con last weekend.  I wanted to emphasize and show her power to move through objects, so she is shifting up through an angled floor/object.  Good stuff.

In Honor of Big Red’s 20th anniversary, a wee sketch commission for a client on Hellboy Day!  Thanks Mike Mignola for this awesome creation, and some amazing artwork since 1994!

Three random commissions I did at SETSUCON 2014-  Jigsaw, Judge Dredd and a young lady who had a furry character she asked me to illustrate for her!  I always enjoy these small sketches at shows!

Im looking forward to a larger scale DREDD study for a killer pinup in the near future- stay tuned…. it’s fun how these commissions can foreshadow something bigger sometimes!
