H.P. LOVECRAFT INSPIRED: Priestess of Dagon with Deep Ones in the Town of Innsmouth

Another haunted look inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. I often thought of the minions of Dagon moving in the town out and proud as the dominate the town, perhaps these movements are only hidden when outsiders come to the town like in Lovecraft’s classic tale “Shadow over Innsmouth” where we are first introduced to the shadowy New England town that isn’t quite human anymore. The Priestess (with a tiara of Dagon) walks to a cult event flanked by two powerful Deep Ones.

Mercy West- Satanist

This is a project that was inspired by checking out some of Mercy West’s fans doing some artwork of her with a coat of arms. Mercy is a sex worker and Satanist, so I wanted to create something with her, and this is the result. A demonic Mercy in her boudoir… and the Satanic Flag on the wall behind her. I also made a variant with her “MW” Logo. You can check Mercy West out online easily on Twitter by clicking here to see what they are about.

Satanic Flag

Part of the “Mercy West Project” was designing and creating a Satanic Flag… loosely based on my own heritage Scottish “Rampant Lion” flag… this time, I put in Baphomet as opposed to the classic Lion.

H.P. LOVECRAFT INSPIRED: Great Race of YITH Transporting Minds from the Future Pencils

The Great Race of Yith’s members were immense rugose cones ten feet high, and with head and other organs attached to foot-thick, distensible limbs spreading from the apexes. They spoke by the clicking or scraping of huge paws or claws attached to the end of two of their four limbs, and walked by the expansion and contraction of a viscous layer attached to their vast, ten-foot bases. „
~ HPL , The Shadow Out of Time

The Yithians have gained a very advanced and evolved mind, one that allowed them to project their minds across time and space. They can take over the minds of other creatures from other time periods and even other planets and universes. The mind of the creature that was taken over, is then being projected into the body of the Yithian, to the great old race. Although the difference in personality is usually noticable and the person affected is considered repulsive to everyone (at least for humans), the Yithians can easily function in the society they project themselves into. However, to return to their original time and body, they need to build a machine, that’s described as construct of metallic poles and glasstubes.

This posters shows the Yith transporting a human mind and consciouness from the future in their ancient cities on Earth…
